Took part in a competition, improved a DL Model, adding negative samples and augmenting images to better detect butterflies that are similar to the background.

This project was for an online competition that required participants to design a model able to detect all kinds of butterflies better. As a team of 3, we took a set of techniques including adding negative samples and augmenting images to improve the accuracy. I led the project by contributing to coding, coordinating meetings and schedules, and breaking up work so team members could cooperate effectively.
